Final assembly: Strings On!

Mark Wood-style tailpiece/Strandberg tuner geometry is just about perfect

Arrr mi-Garrrd! Fingerboard looks pretty damn straight!

F string is just about 5.5-6mm above the end of the fingerboard. A string ~3-3.5mm.

C string is 1/4" too short. I don't think it will affect the playing.

The Cello A-string really looks too thin. About the same thickness as Viola C. Maybe try Cello D and move cello A up to viola C? That would certainly be long enough. A fine-tuning adjustment point.

If the body is strong enough to hold a tuning, then I think it is playable.

Next: Install the volume control, output jack and do the wiring. I'm going to put some 3M tape primer on the backside of the bridge (from the self-adhesive vinyl kit) for the benefit of the double-sided tape of the transducer.
